Food and Beverage Processing involves the application of flavorings, preservatives, and antimicrobials to food products. It also includes adding water or moisture to beef products to maintain their weight. Additionally, release agents are sprayed onto molds, pans, or trays to prevent sticking. Dough and other bakery products are coated with egg wash, oil, or butter. Moistening is also done for seed adhesion.
